My Story

I stumbled my way to the intuitive path through years of trial and tribulation. I lived a very mystical existence when I was young, but this dissipated over time as my connection got lost in an outside reflection of what “real life” looks like.

Over time, I found myself in a growing state of debilitating chronic illness contending with mystery symptoms, suppressed emotions, unhealed family patterns, and an impaired nervous system. Not only was my capacity to live as a functioning person breaking down, but I felt divorced from my true essence and that deeper connection to magic that I knew existed behind all the noise.

After the birth of my twin girls at age 33, I was ripped open to a new level of extrasensory perception overnight and any control I tried to exert over my life was whisked away. As my pre-existing issues got worse by the day, my connection to the unseen world around & within me got louder.

I was now seeing & feeling so much more than I ever had before. Energy was pulsing through my body in inexplicable waves, I was experiencing myself in other lifetimes throughout history, and different beings were showing up to talk to me each night.

Having this spiritual awareness show up again was overwhelming and I attempted to push it away (as I already had for a lifetime), but it soon became apparent this wasn’t a passing phase. I knew life was going to get harder if I didn’t accept the path in front of me, so I started to build a relationship with this connection instead.

In my experience, the soul-led path is one of undoing to find our true selves again and I’ve spent the past decade years learning, experimenting and practicing these abilities while undoing the rest of my life. There have been many times where my body has barely hung on, but in these moments, my spirit kept me alive.

Today I continue to navigate many health challenges, but, within my limitations, I have rediscovered much of the joy, creativity & truth I lived when I was younger as my spiritual connection continues to grow. Instead of living a life trying to suppress my true self to fit in, I have slowly forged an authentic path that is perfectly divine for me. Essentially, I came back to life.

And it’s this loving connection to the sacred, the magical and the divine that I connect with in my work. My aim is to reunite people with the truth of their soul & empower them to forge that infinite connection within themselves. When we can feel that spark of just how powerful & magnificent we are, we have a lifeline to truly transform our story.

I’m currently offering a limited number of intuitive readings per month and through my podcast, Divine Interruption, I share personal life stories & explore the unseen through live on-air readings in my series, Reading the Room.

I have a professional background in communications, media production and fine arts. I worked in broadcasting at the Olympic Games, wrote about politics for the Huffington Post, and designed campaigns & managed PR for local festivals and non-profits. Since 2013, I’ve worked as a marketing manager for the University of Victoria.
