Sarah Hildreth Rankin

I’m a clairvoyant and creative. I love connecting with people on a deep level, telling stories, creating immersive experiences and making beautiful things.

Born out of trying to make sense of my own journey and intuitive abilities, I created Arcana Intuitive as a space to explore and provide creative & magical offerings. I want to reunite people with the essence of their soul and the hidden magic that exists in our every day, because it was at my lowest that this connection brought me back to life.

My Story

While I’ve been a lifelong seeker of the unseen, it’s taken me more than 30 years (and multiple rock-bottoms) to fully accept my own spiritual abilities and commit to this calling. 

I had many spiritual experiences when I was young, but these dissipated over time as my connection got lost in the expectations of what an acceptable life should look like. It wasn’t until the birth of my twin girls at age 33 that I was forced into a new way of being. I experienced a debilitating health crisis and subsequent breakdown of what felt like every aspect of my life. 

Through the collapse of everything I knew, the life I’d built and the person I thought I was and wanted to be, I finally started coming back to myself and my intuitive connection cracked open. Having this spiritual awareness show up again was overwhelming and I fought it for a long time, but at some point it became apparent that these abilities weren’t going away and life was just going to get harder if I didn’t accept the path ahead of me, so I started working with them instead.

Throughout my exploration, I’ve experimented a lot on my own and also trained with many teachers in different modalities. I receive information and messages using my clairvoyance (seeing), clairsentience (feeling) and clairaudience (hearing). In my work I pull from a range of intuitive tools that include reading energy centres, connecting with a soul’s history, viewing past lives and communicating with guides or energies that are with us. My goal is to reunite people with the essence of their soul’s magic & to help them forge that divine connection within themselves. Sometimes all we need is a little push to remember where we came from, and that’s where I come in :)

I have a professional background in communications, media production and fine arts and have worn many hats over the years. I worked in broadcasting at the Olympic Games, wrote about politics for the Huffington Post, designed campaigns & managed PR for local festivals and non-profits, and for the past 10 years, I’ve worked as a marketing manager for the University of Victoria. 

Currently, working with my partner Nick, we design and print custom astrological charts and I’m excited to offer intuitive readings. I look forward to merging my creative passions with my metaphysical knowledge and intuitive gifts to create more offerings down the road, sharing on my blog along the way.
